Programs

Rural Public Transportation is available for everyone. Passengers must call their county transportation office at least 24 hours in advance for a reservation request. Most counties are TennCare and Families First approved. Allcounties are Job Access approved.

Service is provided within each county at a minimum of Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Passengers must call their county transportation office to inquire about possible additional days and hours of service. Transportation service is provided based upon van and driver availability. Each county is equipped with a minimum of one van that is equipped with a wheelchair lift and tie-downs. All passengers are required to use their seat belt. Children under the age of 8 must be in a child restraint device. General public passengers must pay their fare to the driver upon boarding the van.

Examples of trip destinations include medical appointments, social service agencies, shopping, personal business, senior citizen center and work. For additional information call your county transportation office.
